Dominik Raab is a Jazz Drummer currently living in Cologne/Germany and an active part of the european Jazz scene.

He has worked with musicians such as Jim McNeely, James Morrison, Nelson Faria, Eric Alexander,

Don Braden, Ralph Moore, Bruce Forman, Bob Mintzer, Norma Winstone a. o.

He worked with several large groups like the WDR Big Band, SWR Big Band, HR Big Band,

Sunday Night Orchestra, Glenn Miller Orchestra,

Jazzkombinat Hamburg, LJJO Hessen.

Performances and tour activities in Europe and internationally (India, South Africa, Kyrgyztan, Poland, Cyprus, Greece, Russia).

Studies at the University of Music Würzburg (Diploma of Arts and Education) and the University of Music Nürnberg (Master Degree).

His teachers included Marco Hohmann (1st!), Tommy Fischer, Bill Elgart, Dirik Schilgen, Bastian Jütte, HG Brodmann and Hannes Nied.

He studied privately with Paul Höchstädter.
